By?em Kobieta records is a nice and friendly music label from Wroclaw in Poland founded in 2007 by Lubomir 'lutek' Grzelak. At first we were giving away albums only in .mp3 format (320 kbps of course) with front and back covers to print at home through the internet via archive.org but then in 2009 after giving birth to electrofolk [b?_032] Chłopomania - Ludomania record we also started releasing physical CDrs and MCs.
By?em Kobieta records supports unsubmissive and witty artists from all over our big world. The most important thing in our releases is the randan (fun and play), which we, just like the legendary Dutch historian, Johan Huizinga believe is one of the most important elements of our culture. So you won't find here any kind of murky or true and serious sounds. By?em Kobieta records' releases mostly explore varied forms of playing with conventions, often easy listening nice and shibby music or well-done pop hits but some of our releases are almost pure conceptual soundworks.
